Scott Cornwell serves as the Executive Coaching and Consulting Practice Leader for The Center for Intentional Leadership. Scott is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) awarded through the International Coaching Federation. He also holds a Board Certified Coach (BCC) certification and received his formal coach training and certification through the Masters in Executive Coaching program at Queens University. In addition, Scott holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota. His undergraduate business degree is from The Citadel in Charleston, SC. He is certified in a number of executive assessment tools in support of his coaching practice.
Scott’s business experience as a successful sales, strategy, and human resources executive at start-ups, mid-size companies, and Fortune 500 organizations brings a unique background to his coaching work with executive leaders in high growth organizations – he’s been in their shoes. In his past roles, Scott has built high performing sales organizations, processes, and development programs that drive sustainable results.
Scott is known for his intense focus on his client’s goals, understanding what values drive those goals, and helping his clients develop and succeed. Scott draws on over 20 years of experience in coaching leaders and building teams across multiple industries. Scott has successfully coached leaders across multiple functions and industries in business at levels ranging from the C-suite to the mid level leadership team.
Scott and his wife Kari have been married for 20 years and have two daughters, Madison and Amelia. Scott has a passion for the outdoors and fitness where he enjoys long trail runs, golfing, bootcamp fitness, and open water swimming.
